A Staff members place their responsibility for the welfare, health and safety of the community before their responsibility to sectional or private interests.
B At all times, staff members place foremost emphasis on preventing incidents which may cause injury or ill health to themselves or others in the workplace.
C Staff members act with honour, integrity and dignity in order to merit the trust of the community, clients and their professional peers.
D Staff members act only in areas of their competence and in a careful and diligent manner.
E Staff members act with honesty, good faith and equity and without discrimination towards all in the community.
F Staff members apply their skill and knowledge with integrity and in the interest of the community, the company and the client for whom they act - and without compromising any other obligation under this Code.
G Staff members shall not disclose confidential company or client information without permission.
H Staff members avoid being placed under an obligation to a third party in dealing with a client and refuse anything of substantial value from a third party. They disclose to management any potential financial or other conflict of interest.
I Staff members take reasonable steps to inform themselves, their clients and the company of the social, environmental, economic and other possible consequences arising from their actions.
J Staff members express opinions, make statements and give evidence with fairness and honesty and only on the basis of adequate knowledge.
K Staff members will not knowingly omit from any finalised report any information that would materially alter the conclusions that could be drawn from the report.
L Staff members take reasonable steps to ensure that a client who overrules or neglects the company's advice is made aware of the possible consequences.
M Staff members continue to develop relevant knowledge, skill and expertise throughout their careers and actively assist and encourage those with whom they are associated to do likewise.
N Staff members should not assist in or induce a breach of this Code - and support those who seek to uphold the Code when called upon or in a position to do so.
