Heggies has a strong commitment to protecting the environment and ensuring that the company's activities are ecologically sustainable.  

This commitment is promoted to our staff, our clients and the community via an Environmental Management System based on the International Standard ISO14001:2004 'Environmental Management Systems - Requirements with Guidance for Use'.

Environmental Objectives

Heggies has identified objectives which help to minimise impacts upon the environment in which we all live and work. 

  • Promoting best practice environmental management systems and technological operations both in the workplace and in advice given to our clients
  • Operating in an ecologically sustainable manner by the responsible use of energy and resources and by minimising pollution based on a philosophy of 'rethink, reduce, reuse, repair, recycle'
  • Working closely with employees, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and the community to develop and implement agreed environmental initiatives.

Heggies Environmental Policy

This Environmental Policy is applicable to all employees of Heggies across all of our operations and functions, including those situations where employees are required to work offsite. The policy is fully integrated with the company’s Quality Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System
