Heggies and SLR Merge
Heggies Pty Limited is delighted to announce its merger with UK-based international environmental consultancy SLR Management Limited.
Heggies Pty Limited is an employee-owned environmental consulting company, which was established in 1978 by Richard Heggie, who remains the Managing Director. From its roots in Sydney, it has expanded to over 130 staff members with nine offices across the Australia and Singapore. Heggies is recognised as a leading acoustics, vibration and air quality consultancy with a growing international reputation.
SLR presently has over 750 employees working from more than 45 offices in the UK, Canada, Ireland and USA, with a strong presence waste management services, the oil and gas industry and in renewable energy from wind, waste, hydropower and biomass.
Heggies enjoys market leadership in specialist environmental engineering and scientific services to the transport, mining, building and construction industries. Heggies’ strong presence in Australasia offers an excellent opportunity for SLR to leverage its key complementary services via the Heggies platform in this region.
Over the past few years Heggies has diversified to offer its clients a wide range of built and natural environment services. Importantly, Heggies has a strong reputation in transport infrastructure, ports, mining and construction. Their growing international presence in these markets offers exceptional opportunities for Heggies to develop Heggies areas of special expertise into Europe and North America.
The existing Heggies management teams will continue to lead operations in the Asia-Pacific Region. Business and service quality to clients will continue unchanged – with expanded service offerings becoming available over the next twelve months.
