Heggies was commissioned to lead the environmental testing program of the CPT in order to provide environmental compliance to the Commonwealth's ASLAV CPT Acceptance program.
The CPT provides the ADF with a mobile ASLAV simulator housed in a ruggedised ISO container. The work included equipment surveying, test planning and drafting, test procedure review, environmental analysis, witnessing and results review and reporting. The simulator and its corresponding hardware were subjected to high temperature and solar, low temperature, dust and sand, transport damage protection, vibration and road testing. Compliance to salt, fog, driving rain and corrosion requirements was conducted via analysis by Heggies. These tests formed the baseline to the ADF's environmental compliance program and Heggies successfully delivered final reports and test evidence to meet these requirements.
