Heggies were engaged to conduct Heat Stress Monitoring at the One Steel Newcastle Rod Mill. Both area and personal heat stress monitoring was conducted.Two individuals were assessed during the personal heat stress monitoring using Rae Lifeshirts, which enable wireless real time observation of a number of parameters including temperature and heart rate.Wokers were observed for the entire shift to ensure all physiological reponses were aligned with each work task.
